I started this blog in 2008, when we were a family of two and beginning our adoption journey. And now, almost 5 years later, we have added our two little ones to our family.
I have felt for a while that it is time to end this blog.
And since this blog was, in part, about chronicling my journey to becoming a mother, I feel it is only fitting that the blog come to an end on Mother's Day.
I want to thank all of my blog readers. I am grateful for the friendships and support that I have had through the online adoption community. I can't imagine going through the last four and a half years without being able to converse with others and learn from others who walk a similar path. Thank you to all of you (from all sides of adoption) whom I have learned from. It was of course, through blogging and those connections that we were able to become parents again. What an amazing (and humbling) turn of events.
We have been very blessed and we are looking forward, later this year, to finalizing this adoption and going to the temple to add our new baby girl to our eternal family.
Thank you again, and best wishes on your own journeys.
And, Happy Mother's Day!
PS: I will not be blogging any longer, but please feel free to send me an email if you have any questions or comments.
